Job Purpose / Duties & Responsibilities

Job Purpose
The Custom Promotion & Signage Sales Manager will facilitate the sales growth of BG Masterworks custom engraving platforms in signage, drinkware, awards, & targeted promotional products as well as custom apparel and merchandise. He/she will lead the direction on content for both the B2B and B2C websites as well as work directly with Promotional Product Distributors to be their first call for custom laser engraving, contract decorator bids and overflow projects. The Custom Promotion & Signage Sales Manager will be customer-facing and customer-centric on the entire sales cycle from lead capture, bid submission & winning to 100% customer satisfaction on project delivery.

Duties & Responsibilities

Adheres to company polices and presents a professional, positive attitude at all times.

Proactively pursue sales opportunities through relationship building with Distributors & Contractors, Website Lead Generation, Digital Campaigns, Trade Shows, and Industry Events.

Proactively seek new business within existing customers.

Develop monthly sales targets with associated actions within the sales plan to track progress toward annual sales goals.

Collaborate with VP/GM and Division Manager to develop strategic sales plan to implement and execute targeted sales growth.

Develop excellent presentation materials for both internal and external sales clients.

Utilize CRM software to manage accounts, prospecting activities, sales objectives, and results – including key notes regarding customer conversations on current & future needs.

Promptly respond to RFPs with product quotes and follow-up with customers to secure the sale.

Continuously updating knowledge of the promotional industry, including new products, sales trends and manufacturing techniques.

Participate in sales and vendor meetings, industry trade shows, conferences, and networking groups virtually or in-person.

Remain familiar with engraving shop capabilities and limitations in order to present accurate information to potential customers.

Suggest new products/equipment that would enhance our reach in the marketplace.

Responsible for coordinating Spec samples, Proofs, meeting deadlines and ensuring all tasks are completed for your orders.

Coordinate with Manager of BG Engraving Division & Project Management to verify lead times, product availability and delivery dates.

Provide excellent customer service and support for all customers.

Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics.

Ability to maintain complete and accurate records and files.

Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency.

Possible travel to local customers, suppliers, and targeted tradeshows / industry events.

Other duties as assigned.

5+ years of sales experience.

B2B external sales experience preferred.

Education – High school diploma or equivalent required.

Proficient - Microsoft Office Suite required.

CRM (Quickbase &/or Salesforce) experience preferred.

Valid Driver’s license required. Must be able to pass an MVR.
