Copywriter Wage $53,000-$59,000     Job Purpose / Duties & Responsibilities The Copywriter will be responsible for creating compelling copy for a variety of mediums, including websites, promotional materials, magazines, video, email, and social media. The ideal candidate has a passion for the automotive industry and a strong understanding of marketing and branding. Duties & Responsibilities • Write clear and concise copy for various marketing materials such as promotional literature, training resources, website content, video and audio scripts, magazine articles and advertisements. • Collaborate with the Inbound Marketing Manager to ensure copy aligns with the company’s brand identity and messaging • Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive industry trends and technologies to bring fresh perspectives to your work • Conduct research and write product descriptions, case studies, and blog posts that showcase the company’s products and services • Collaborate with the video team to write scripts and assist with storyboard development • Implement SEO best practices in blog post and web page content • Write compelling headlines and taglines that capture the attention of the target audience • Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency • Perform other duties as assigned.   Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, marketing, or a related field • 3+ years of experience as a copywriter, with a focus on the automotive industry preferred • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills • Excellent research and organizational skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Knowledge of SEO and social media best practices a plus • Takes direction well and understands how to be creative within established guidelines. • A demonstrated focus on execution – on time and on budget. • Ability to establish and maintain great working relationships at all levels within the company and across multiple departments. This position will work on-site at our Wichita, Kansas location.
